Day1- Flavouring the Italian countryside
After our journey what better way to relax than in the beautiful Italian countryside. We’ll settle in then our host will organize some fun farmhouse activities for us all, then farmhouse supper the traditional Italian way ‘alfresco’
Our farmlodge in Brisighella
Day2 – A guided tour of the breathtaking Republic of San Marino – Lunch at one of the Hill top restaurants with an amazing view of the surrounding area
Day3 – A stroll through the Lamone Valley
We’ll start our day by visiting the picturesque hamlet of Brisighella, then off to an ancient convent for a fun pasta and ice-cream making session and lunch. In the afternoon a visit to an amazing herb and flower garden that spreads over a 10000 square meters picturesque location. On our return a visit to the local food and wine consortium for tasting and shopping, yummy!
Day4 – A guided tour of one of Italy most beautiful and culturally important cities Bologna. After lunch free time for shopping or more sight seeing.
Day5 – The pretty town of Faenza (an experience of true Italian culture)
An off route treasure unknown to many but loved by many more. A few hours around the market – lunch at a typical trattoria – then off to visit Milzetti Palace and the town’s famous earthquake museum. On our return we’ll stop off at the Gatea Ceramics to witness the areas well known ceramic arts.
Day6 – Embracing nature
An interesting boat ride through the Commacchio Lagoon to see and experience one of many aspects of the Italian culture and way of life. We’ll also visit the pretty town of Comacchio itself for a traditional lunch.
Day7 – Sorry! Back home….
